From humble beginnings in Taylors Arm (population 50) on the New South Wales north coast around six years ago, we relocated to Port Stephens in 2009 where today we run a microbrewery, Cellar Door and one of the region's best restaurants, The Brewery Restaurant.

GRAPE AND GRAIN - Port Stephens Winery and Murray's Brewery Share Their Home In early 2008 we took the bold step of looking for a new location to expand our beer brewing operations. Our existing facility at Taylors Arm was unable to cope with our company's rapid growth so we needed to look at options for our business going forward. Our preferred location was the Hunter region. We looked at a number of properties before stumbling across the oldest established in the Port Stephens area, Port Stephens Winery.
Awards
Murrays Craft Brewing Co. won 12 medals from 12 entries at one of the worlds largest beer awards, the Australian International Beer Awards, including gold medal recognition for its Murrays Grand Cru beer. The craft brewer went head to head with 1140 entries from 215 breweries across 39 countries.
