Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters

Irukandji is a unique, interactive aquarium that allows visitors to experience ocean life in a new and exciting way. With a focus on Education, Conservation and Fun! Get up close to sharks and rays and learn about their importance in the marine environment.

Located in Anna Bay, the aquarium pledges to raise awareness and make a positive difference to aquatic life.

Every entrant needs an Entry Pass which includes feeding and petting the aquarium animals, under the guidance of experienced and passionate keepers. From here you can choose to upgrade to in-water experiences like Snorkelling or Encounters!

During the experience you will come across the beautiful zebra sharks, tawny nurse sharks, bamboo sharks, eastern fiddler rays, shovelnose rays, smooth rays, eagle rays and MANY more! There will be many opportunities during your time with us to pet, feed and learn about them.
