TRAVEL ALERT PRIOR TO VISITING
Destination Port Stephens (DPS) is working closely with Tourism Australia and Destination NSW to bring you up to date travel information. We are following the advice and regulations set out by the Australian Government, NSW Department of Health and the NSW Government.
Travel restrictions are currently in place for Australia and The NSW Government has advised that non-essential travel to regional NSW towns and remote communities including for a holiday, for meetings, to relocate for a longer period or to see family and friends is required to be postponed or cancelled and Easter holidaymakers should indefinitely postpone their visits, in line with the nationwide effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Here is the latest travel advice from Destination NSW.
We will try and keep as up to date as possible, however things are changing on a daily and sometimes an hourly basis.
While some of our local operators have made the tough decision to temporarily shut down until further notice online purchases for travel in the future, when the bans have been lifted are still available, however, if you are in doubt we recommend you contact the business direct.
While the Port Stephens Visitor Information Centre is closed to the public, our team are available Monday to Friday to help with any enquiries you may have. You can phone directly on 1800 808 900 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
