Official Launch of the 2024 Whale Watch Season

Join Moonshadow-TQC & Imagine Cruises as we celebrate the start of the 2024 Whale Watching season in Port Stephens. This event is supported by Port Stephens Council, d’Albora Marina & Destination Port Stephens. 

Program:

9am - Meet out the front of Dock C, d'Albora Marina, Nelson Bay

9:10am - Opening of ceremony by Frank Future, Imagine Cruises

9:15am - Welcome to Country & Smoking Ceremony by Uncle John & Justin Ridgeway from the Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council

9:25am - Address from Steve Keogh, CEO of Destination Port Stephens

9:35am - Official opening of the 2024 Whale Watching season

9:45am - Board vessels - boarding location as per tickets

10am to 12:30pm - 2.5hr Whale Watch cruise onboard either Moonshadow-TQC or Imagine Cruises

1pm onwards - Post cruise celebrations at Magnolia Café with Mick Jones providing live entertainment. 

$5 tap beers on offer (event will be held at Mavericks on the Bay in the event of inclement weather)

2:30pm - Raffle drawn at Magnolia - MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN
