Hunter Region Botanic Gardens

Enjoy over 30 hectares of tranquil landscaped gardens, displaying the beauty and diversity of Australian native flora in a natural bushland setting. The gardens feature over 3000 living specimens with 8 kilometres of easy tracks and trails.

Theme gardens include native plants, exotics, Orchid and Bromeliad Houses, an amazing Succulent and Cacti garden, endangered species and plants of the Hunter Region.

The result of community initiative and run by volunteers, the Gardens also protect 100 hectares of land in the Tomago sand-beds catchment area, including two wetland habitats.
