Mini Marine Biologist Program at Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters
The Mini Marine Biologist Program is a whole day program separated into two different days of education and fun who are itching to get behind the scenes and learn how to look after our amazing animals.
This fully guided day offers exclusive behind the scenes access that enables children to face their fears and gain knowledge about the ocean and its inhabitants. Participants will learn about the animals with a special take home workbook (great for show and tell when the holidays are over) and help their Aquarist/Zookeeper leader carry out some important aquarium jobs.
They will need to bring their swimmers and towels as they will get to hop in and have a Shark Encounter with their guide.
Monday September 28th is for kids age 7-11 years old and is priced at $120 per child.
It includes educational activities, morning tea and lunch provided by Soul Origin at Salamander Bay, as well as our famous shark encounter.
Wednesday the 30th of September is for kids aged 12-15 years and includes all of the above, plus a guided snorkel in our tropical lagoon. The price for this age group is $160 per child.
