Meet the Maker Session - Kate Wilkie, Multimedia Artist

Kate has created functional 3D mixed media works featuring the beauty of Australian flora and fauna. She works with timber, palm fronds and found objects to create unique bowls, boxes, baskets, wearables and ambient LED lighting. Her display includes a jewellery range of electroplated cicada wings in 22k gold, copper, and nickel, and rare echidna quill necklaces and earrings. The full exhibition of her work runs from 2 April to 26 April.
