Port Stephens Community Arts Centre Annual Bonsai Exhibition

Our bonsai enthusiasts are excited to show off their trees and share their passion for creating miniature trees, which will, in the end, give the appearance of an old tree in nature. An interesting, fun and fulfilling creative art.

Almost any tree has the potential to become a bonsai, and the Exhibition will showcase a broad range of both exotic and native trees styled by members of our bonsai group, using easy to follow techniques.

There will be Bonsai demonstrations, held at 11am on both Saturday and Sunday, with demonstrators excited to share their knowledge and answer any questions. Visitors to the Exhibition are encouraged to discuss the art of Bonsai growing with the centre's members. As well as the displays and demonstrations, there will be trees for sale and a multiple-choice raffle.

The Arts Centre’s beautiful garden café will be open on Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 2:30pm serving tea, coffee, cakes, scones, and some light lunch options.
