Port Stephens Marine Creatures - Great and Small

Dive into the underwater world of Port Stephens with an exciting new display celebrating the incredible marine life found in our local waters.

From giant humpback whales to tiny nudibranchs, Port Stephens Marine Creatures - Great and Small invites visitors of all ages to discover the fascinating creatures that call our coastline home.

Created by Atlantis Port Stephens, the display will be on show at the Port Stephens Visitor Information Centre throughout June and features interactive exhibits, sculptures and marine models designed to educate and inspire.

Highlights include:

• Mighty Whales: humpback whale head and tail displays

• Naughty Nudis: colourful nudibranch sculptures

• Delightful Dolphins: interactive dolphin display

• Shy Seahorses: showcasing one of the region’s most unique marine species

• Savvy Sharks: featuring a prehistoric shark model and great white shark cut-out

Educational talks

Visitors can also hear from local marine expert Matt from Atlantis Port Stephens during special educational talks on:

• Saturday 6 June, 11am to 12noon

• Saturday 27 June, 11am to 12noon
