Port Stephens Toyota Surfest Wildcard Trials 2019

Surfest Newcastle Australia 2019 commences on 2 February 2019 with the Port Stephens Toyota wildcard trials at Birubi beach and concludes at Merewether beach on 17 March 2019, where the male and female champions of the events add their names to an enviable list of past champions.

This unique event will decide the male and female Surfest wildcards into the World Surf League Men’s 6000 Burton Automotive Pro, the World Surf League 6000 Holmes Civil Developments Women’s Pro crowd funded event, as well as the World Surf League JQS 1000 Surfest Pro Junior for men and women.

Trials will also be held for surfers to earn free entry into the Sanbah Cadet Cup Boys and Girls. This event is made up of three groups: under 14 boys, under 16 boys and under 16 girls.

Surfest Trials each year are a very important event for male and female surfers who are trying to make their mark on the World Surf League Qualifying Tour.

The 2019 Wildcard Trials are expected to include a high calibre of both male and female professional and emerging surfers from around the country.
