Spooktacular at Murrays Brewery

Pumpkin Ale and Bat Wings are some of the weird and wonderful delights being served up at Murray’s Brewery this Halloween weekend, alongside great entertainment, tours and tastings.

Murray’s Pumpkin Ale is one of the craft brewer’s most sought-after specialty beers, loved by all. But according to the brewers, the fun starts only when you get to drink the end brew. Murray’s Pumpkin Ale is a special spiced beer. In addition to British and German malts, the beer has cooked pumpkin added to the mash. The pumpkin adds a subtle sweetness and pumpkin aroma and flavour that is enhanced by the addition of the spices.

The annual collaboration between brewers and chefs has extended from beer to also include food, with the Brewery kitchen team creating some seriously spooky creations.

“The food highlight will be our ‘Bat Wings’ - specially presented marinated chicken wings. Who could resist?”

There’ll be lots of fun for the kids. Pirate Bob’s Scavenger Hunt, Murray’s interactive kids’ game gets a spooky make-over for the weekend. This ghoulish game leads the players on a Haunted Halloween themed tour of Bobs Farm, solving puzzles to collect their treat.
