History Afloat Heritage Cruise
Step aboard one of Port Stephens' iconic historic timber ferries and join local ferry owner Kerrie Jeffreys for a fascinating journey through the rich maritime history of Port Stephens.
As you cruise the sparkling waters of the bay, Kerrie will share stories of the people, places and events that helped shape our region, along with the history of the ferries that have connected communities across the bay for generations. You'll also hear Kerrie’s own inspiring story of purchasing, restoring and operating a fleet of historic timber vessels, preserving an important part of our local heritage for future generations.
This special 2.5-hour cruise includes a delicious brunch served on board while you relax and take in the spectacular scenery of Port Stephens.
Part of the Port Stephens Winter Festival, History Afloat offers a unique blend of local history, maritime heritage, storytelling and sightseeing, making it the perfect experience for visitors and locals alike.
