TYCA's Creative Makers Workshops

Are you Creative? Have an idea for a small business? or just want to know if you can make some money from an idea you have or from a hobby you like, then register for our Creative Makers Workshops and find the answer to your questions and explore the possibilities.

We may be able to help you turn your ideas or hobbies into money making ideas.

TYCA is partnering with Hunter Futurepreneurs, Port Stephen Council and Salamander Bay Recycling to offer people between the ages of 14 years and 24 years, the opportunity to participate in workshops that will :-

Help develop your ideas, cost out how you could make your idea(s) work, how you could produce your product or deliver your service and how you can market your product or service successfully

Then TYCA along with Port Stephen Council will then give you the opportunity to make and sell your products or service at a Creative Makers Markets to be held in December 2019.

This is a 5-part program that includes training, mentoring and support and the opportunity to sell your products or service.

You will need to commit to the times listed below and there will be the need for you to do some product development at home.

Day 1. Thursday 3rd Oct 2019 - 10 am to 4 pm

Day 3. Friday 1st Nov 2019 - 5 pm to 6.30 pm

- Training / Product or service research and development / Mentoring / Support

Day 4. Friday 22nd Nov 2019 - 5 pm to 6.30 pm

- Training / Product or service research and development / Mentoring / Support

Day 5. Saturday Dec 2019 (Exact Date & location TBA) - 10 am to 4 pm

- Market Day
