When it comes to seafood in Port Stephens both residents and visitors alike are spoilt for choice. From fish, prawns and oysters to crabs, lobsters, and shellfish the mouth-watering quality and range of seafood is unique to this region.

From the trawler to the table, your catch of the day is as fresh as it gets. Port Stephens is renowned for sensational seafood all year round with Hunter River estuaries and Myall Lakes and River bursting with sweet prawns and plump oysters, Blue Swimmer and Mud crabs and lobsters.

This August we will celebrate our coastal cuisine with live cooking demonstrations, tastings, signature dinners, seafood lunch and dinner specials, oyster tasting and shucking, educational talks and, kids’ activities and much more.

Gala Dinner Saturday 4 August

Mitchell Turner from Rick Stein Bannisters, Port Stephens, Mat Key from The Little Nel, Michael Jenkins from The Anchorage, Ben Way from Little Beach Boathouse and Ludovic Poyer from The Poyer’s will prepare a set four course Port Stephens inspired seafood delight, whilst all perfectly matched to a 50ml tasting of Oatley’s wines.
