Cancellation Policy

TERMS & CONDITIONS Booking Terms & Conditions The participant accepts and agrees to these booking terms and conditions by making the initial booking. Failure to read booking details including terms & conditions is negligence by the booking holder. There will be no refunds if a booking holder has not read the booking information, terms and conditions in detail. Pricing Rates are quoted in AUD inclusive of GST. Prices are subject to change. No responsibility is accepted for unforeseen omissions or misrepresentations of 3rd party tour operators. Minimum Rider Numbers Camel activity tours require a minimum number of participants to operate and are subject to change at any time. In circumstances where minimum numbers are not reached, an alternative date and/or time will be offered. No show or late show policy No refunds given for a No Show, no matter what the reason. Late Show (arrival 15 minutes or less from start time) = Forfeit of booking and no refund. You cannot ride if you arrive less than 15 minutes before the departure time. Rider Weight Rider’s weight limit: Must not exceed 110kg. We hold a duty of care to the, health, well-being and safety of both camel and camel riding activity participant. Pregnant Persons We do not recommend riding camels for persons who are pregnant.
No refund will apply if a customer fails to join the tour due to pregnancy. Safety Requirements Wearing an Australian standard safety helmet and is compulsory (helmets are provided). Risks Associated with Camel Activities You ride and participate in Oakfield Ranch Camels camel riding activities at your own risk and by participating you will accept all risks of injury or death in any way. Cold feet policy If a customer chooses not to get onto their camel or opts to leave during the tour, they forfeit their payment and are not eligible for a refund. Weather All camel riding activities are subject to cancellation or variation depending on weather conditions. Council and/or National Parks may close their managed beaches and parks due to weather conditions or altered terrain due to weather effects. Photography Oakfield Ranch Camels may wish to use photographs, film (video) or audio taken during your camel riding activity to promote the activity on our website, social media or in publications. If you are opposed to this, you must communicate this in to staff before your ride commences. Carriage at discretion of Oakfield Ranch Camels A booking holder can be excluded from any camel riding related activity due to their anticipated or actual inability to ride or participate, supply of incorrect information (for example re. rider’s weight, ability, riding capacity) or behaviour that endangers themselves, other persons or camels. In this case, the booking holder’s fee will be forfeited, non-refundable. The camel tour operator has absolute discretion in deciding whether a passenger will ride a camel or not. Issues pertaining to perceived or actual competency, general mobility, medical conditions and pregnancy are examples of reasons the tour operator may refuse carriage of a rider. Such decisions are made in the best interest of the safety of the customers, camels and staff. Oakfield Ranch Camels accepts no liability for any inconvenience. Booking Holder Competency General Mobility
& Physical fitness are not a requirement to enjoy a camel ride but a customer must be able to climb up onto the camel saddle while the camel is sitting or from the mounting platform. This requires some flexibility in the hips, legs and arm strength. Props to get onto the camel are not provided.
No refund will apply if customer fails to join the tour due to general mobility issues. Medical Conditions -
Passengers with medical conditions should check their suitability to ride camels prior to booking. Persons with medical conditions participating in the camel tour do so at their own risk and Oakfield Ranch Camels accepts no liability for any damage or injury caused. No refund will apply if customer fails to join the tour due to medical condition issues. Cancellation & refund policy Cancellation of Booking By The Participant Cancellations are effective by the date and time that the cancellation request is provided. Any request received less than 48 hours of your scheduled booking, will be charged a 100% cancellation fee - you will not receive a refund. If you have booked through a 3rd party supplier, it is your responsibility to request a refund for your cancellation from the 3rd party supplier as per the above stated stipulations. Your 3rd party supplier may charge you cancellation fees or retain their booking fees.
 Cancellation of Booking By Oakfield Ranch Camels If a situation beyond the control of Oakfield Ranch Camels arises and Oakfield Ranch Camels have to cancel the tour, then a 100% refund (minus booking and card fees) applies. Cancellations can include, but are not limited to inclement weather (high winds, rain, storms), Council beach and/or National Parks closures or staff shortages. We value comfort and safety for both our customers and our camels. If we have to cancel, we will endeavour to contact you via your supplied contact email. Refunds are paid to the credit card details supplied. Refunds are made within 14 days. If you have booked through a 3rd party supplier, your refund will be issued by that 3rd party supplier as per the above stated stipulations. Your 3rd party supplier may charge you cancellation fees or retain their booking fees.
